Quite a bit of work has gone on at the Roberts house this past week. We had the bottom half of the driveway torn out so it can be raised up a bit. Hopefully this will alleviate the continual puddle (lake) at the bottom of the driveway. We also fanned it out instead of having it just go straight. My dad is the main reason we decided to change things. It seems that the man can't back out straight. He has run over our curbing, lawn, and sprinkler heads several times. So, Dad, I have good news and bad news for you. The good news: You don't have to worry about ruining the sprinklers anymore. The bad news: You get to pay for the new concrete! Ha! Ha! I wish!!
Keaton and Klayson like going out and helping the guys whenever they're here working. Keaton helped with leveling the trench for the shed, take down the forms, and backfill when they were done. Klayson likes to do whatever they'll let him do. Today he was pushing a thing across the driveway to pack the dirt & rock before the cement gets poured. He thinks he's pretty cool. Maybe since we're providing some of the labor they'll give us a discount.

Gettin in the Groove
I'm a bit slow to jump on the band wagon of blogging. After checking out a bunch of my friends blogs, and CJ and I enjoying a good read, I decided to get in the groove and give it a try. It's great to read about and see pictures about what is going on with friends and family.
Nothing new is happening with us. Work for CJ, laundry for me, homework for Keaton, friend stress for Kennedy, but life is great for Klayson and Olivia. Oh, to be a little kid!
We're in the process of putting up a shed in the backyard. The footings were poured yesterday and they are here right now pouring the foundation. Hopefully the cement will be still be wet enough for the kids to put their handprints somewhere when they get home from school. We have handprints of CJ, me, Keaton, Kennedy, and footprints of Klayson at the top end of the drivway. I think when we did the cement for the dog runs last year we put Olivia's footprints. But that's not to cool to be by the dogs.
